Error when 'News' is disabled in Module

I get this strange error, when i disable News module:

ERROR: at line 702 in file /home/public_html/lib/smarty/sysplugins/smarty_internal_templatecompilerbase.php:

Message:

Syntax Error in template "tpl_body:18" on line 72 "{* End News *}" Default plugin handler: Returned callback for "news" not callable

Any workaround please?

Did you try to clear cache?

I tried clearing cache, but it didn't work. I dont know how to lookup {news} tag in my template. I am using the default template. [redriverbpo dot com]

Go to layout > templates click name of template you use, search for news tag, remove it, click submit...
