Pretty urls breaks multiple detailpage param usage? (news)

Post by MarloesG »

I have this weird problem, and can't seem to figure out the cause...
I want to use multiple detailpages in the news module, but with pretty urls switched on the detailpage param is not followed.

I'm using the detailspage= parameter to display my projects on different detailpages (one per category).
Everything works fine untill I switch on the pretty urls mod_rewrite. With pretty urls all articles are shown on the default detailpage as set in the options in the module, and not on it's specific detailpage set with the detailpage= parameter. I've checked the page alias for the detailpages and they match the detailpage I give as parameter.

The moment I switch back to default URL's it does use the detailpage param again.

Has anyone had this problem with pretty url's and multiple detailpages?
Using cmsms 1.11.2 “Isabela” and newsmodule 2.12.9

The same problem here in CMSMS 1.11.4

Partial solution: http://forum.cmsmadesimple.org/viewtopi ... ge#p282665

Set default detailpage in News options and clear cache. I also did set the URL again to get it working right.

Unfortunately, I can't get multiple detailpages working right this way..

I've had no problem using pretty URLs and the detailpage= parameter, it just adds the detail template name at the end of the URL but it does go to the detail page...
