Hi all,
suddenly gallery module started to show errors on image upload. It was working fine before and nothing seems to be changed so far.
The errors are:
Warning: Division by zero in /home/pgingao/public_html/ajdp/modules/Gallery/lib/class.Gallery_utils.php on line 451 Warning: imagecreatetruecolor() [function.imagecreatetruecolor]: Invalid image dimensions in /home/pgingao/public_html/ajdp/modules/Gallery/lib/class.Gallery_utils.php on line 511 Warning: imagecopyresampled(): supplied argument is not a valid Image resource in /home/pgingao/public_html/ajdp/modules/Gallery/lib/class.Gallery_utils.php on line 539 Warning: imagejpeg(): supplied argument is not a valid Image resource in /home/pgingao/public_html/ajdp/modules/Gallery/lib/class.Gallery_utils.php on line 545 Warning: imagedestroy(): supplied argument is not a valid Image resource in /home/pgingao/public_html/ajdp/modules/Gallery/lib/class.Gallery_utils.php on line 553 The files are both on /public_html/ajdp/uploads/images/GalleryThumbs and /public_html/ajdp/uploads/images/Gallery
Hostgator says everything is fine with permissions and that the issue appears to be with error handling in the script. The script is failing to get the appropriate dimensions for the image and is failing horribly. The issue is in the function cms_utils::get_module('Gallery').
Please note the images are there and are displayed correctly on the front-end, but on the Gallery admin area I can't see the thumbnails.
Any help is welcome.
Thanks

Gallery, errors uploading images
Re: Gallery, errors uploading images
I can agree to thatpgingao wrote:and that the issue appears to be with error handling in the script.

Is it possible that the error is related to the images? I've seen some issues when people try to use jpg-images with CMYK colors in stead of the usual RGB colors.

I don't think so, this was working fine two weeks before and I tried with gifs, jpgs, pngs...
Thanks

Re: Gallery, errors uploading images
then I don't know why this happens so suddenly
Re: Gallery, errors uploading images
Can this be some compatibility problem with other modules?
On localhost hhen I upload images it says "All images received." but shows one red image with "0 Bytes" writen. Then there is no thumbnail, but the image is there and shows up nicelly on the front end.
Thanks

Re: Gallery, errors uploading images
After much trial and error I ended up re-installing everything.
At least now it's working.
Thanks

Re: Gallery, errors uploading images
@lexscripta you must be doing something totaly wrong, i rarely have any issues with module installation if any at all.
Wait till you upgrade WP with unsupported plugin or theme
But yes CMSMS isn't "click a website together" and you can switch any site from any cms to any cms without loosing rankings, just have to know how.

[solved] Re: Gallery, errors uploading images
This is not quite the same but I can't see a better thread. I had the Gallery module working but now when I click add images button the page reloads and no way to add images.
I have to FTP the images into a directory and then finish the editing of names and descriptions.
I use Chrome and the upload box doesn't work at all.
Is it my setup, is because I upgraded?
OK Gallery uses flash to upload images and Flashblock needs to know this, sorry.
