Help with getting the CMS CORE package up and running. This does not include 3rd party modules, PHP scripts, anything downloaded via module manager or from any external source.

I have installed cms but how do i then import my existing...

Post by gamenoodle »

Hello

i have figured out how to install cms but i have a static website with well over 100 html files in it.
I have tryed the tutorials for this on this website but they didnt tell em how to do it fully.

So i have html's and a css how can i import these?

my website at the moment has links and text in tables i want to be able to edit and add to these and make new pages?

how do i do this?

i have tried making a template and attaching the css to it but i dont really know what it wants because my html code has the divs and heads in among the other information like text and links?

help would be great thank you

Take a page and remove all the additional content that would not be on every page, for things going in every page like the Menu add {menu} tag in the correct spot, add {content} where you want the Content of a page to be, etc. etc...

When you get the template/HTML/CSS working you can start with the copy/paste of the original pages content into new pages in the CMSMS...
