Hacked News Module into Blog Module

Post by Dr.CSS »

if i hack a module to have diff. capabilities (sort of) does that make it a new Module?
like calling it Blog and instead of the [More] link it says Comments with the count of comments next to it Comments [5] clik that and you see the main Blog article by itself with the 5 comments below it and you can add a comment using the Comments Module... i guess the only thing i did was change the name and made it say Comments instead of [More]

  just wondering....  :-\

If you want it to be completely separate you'll probably have to modify almost every file in the news module and replace all occurances of:
module_news
with something like:
module_blog
Note: I don't have time to take on any more projects. I'm quite busy. I may be too busy to reply to emails or messages. Thanks for your understanding. :)
