I'm running CMS made simple for some time now but all of a sudden without any changes the site fell apart.

Do you know for sure? Maybe your host changed something?

Steps that might get you further:

1) read this topic http://forum.cmsmadesimple.org/viewtopi ... 40&t=17166, especially point 5 of the first post.

2) paste your system information here

3) turn debug on and look for error messages
