Gallery / sub-galleries / pagination

Hi guys,

My problem:
I've got main gallery and a few sub-galleries

Structure:
Gallery
Sub-gallery01
Sub-gallery02
Sub-gallery03
…
Sub-gallery50

In main gallery I have pagination (maximum number of sub-galleries – 5; should only show 5 sub-galleries on page).
And there is a problem.
When I click on sub-gallery I get this link:
www.mysite.com/sub-gallery/1-5-78/

In sub-gallery I have 75 photos, but the main gallery page limit makes it only to show 5 photos.
There are templates for main gallery (5 photos max) and for sub-galleries (unlimited photos).

When I change above 5 to 75 (www.mysite.com/sub-gallery/1-75-78/) I can see all my photos is sub-gallery.

Is there a solution to limit photos in a gallery but without creating links to sub-galleries with such limitation?
