Is there a module for cmsms that creates a slideshow of mainly text-based content i.e. text with one image? I am working on moving a site from DNN and we were using digirotate module there as a major feature on some pages.
Can the news module be adapted as a slide show? And how?
I'm good with css/html and can usually follow instructions well for javascript/php etc.
Would appreciate suggestions. I've read through the module descriptions but I'm unsure how to proceed.

If you find a nice jQuery slider, it should be not to difficult to built it in a Summary template of the News module.

As Jos mentioned with jQuery you should be able to do a slide with any module basically
