Formbuilder won't install [solved]

Post by RichardC »

Hello,

I am using a fresh install of CMS Made Simple 1.9.4.2. I've installed the latest version of captcha and the latest version of guestbook though the module manager without any problems. However, when I want to install formbuilder 0.7 through the module manager I get this error:

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 33554432 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 3047722 bytes) in /var/www/vhosts/[url]/httpdocs/modules/ModuleManager/ModuleManager.module.php on line 1634

So I've surfed to the forge, and downloaded the xml of formbuilder 0.7 (yes, I am positive it is the xml, not the tar.gz). When I upload that I get this error:

Error parsing XML file. Please make sure you are uploading a .xml file and not a .tar.gz or zip file. (

I've also tried installing the version before 0.7, the 0.6.4 version, but it gives me the same error.

I have the feeling I'm doing something wrong here, since I've installed this module on more than one ocassion without any problems...

Did you try the search button on this forum? Might want to search for topics on the words: "Fatal error: Allowed memory exhausted"

I did... apparantly setting a memory limit in the config.php solved the problem.... however...

I'm wondering about something. I have installed the same module multiple times on the same server, different account. All accounts I use are the same in specs, just have a different domain. Why would this work without any problems on one account, and cause these kind of problems on another account?

Any upgrades on the server recently? If yes, was it before you tried to install Formbuilder?
