Search a news specific category, is it possible?

Hello all,

I look around the forum but can't find how to search a specific news module category and show results for this category only.

what i've done ?

I've created 5 news categories and created 5 pages (one page for each news category)

page A contains articles from news category A
page B contains articles from news category B
page C contains articles from news category C
page D contains articles from news category D
page E contains articles from news category E

Now when someone is on page A and lunch a search, I would like him to only see results from news category A.

please help me find this solution.

You have to add an input to your search form named "passthru_News_category" and then you have to add a custom SearchResultWithParams() function to the News.module.php

What is the SearchResultWithParams() function that goes into New.module? Is this something you can either share, or pm me for a quote? I'd like to be able to search only certain categories within the news module.
