Is CMSMS good as Content Mangement System?

Post by thepieman »

Hi

I would like to know if CMSMS makes a good Document Management System? If so does anyone have example sites I can look at.

Are there any specific modules available that maybe of interest to me?

I'm still at the very bottom of the learning curve with this particular system, so any help would be greatly apprciated.

Regards

Most excellent system, i've used a few diff. things to manage web sites and this is by far the easiest, most adaptable and flexible system i've used to date and will never use another, as i am able to port ANY web design you want for it, the menu system is one of the best things about it, after hand coding page after page of menus, what could be easier than putting this on a page and have 50 pages show up on a menu,

        {cms_module module='menumanager' template='ruthcssmenu''}

and the modules are plenty and growing all the time and the people on the forum are most helpful and friendly, examples of templates www.multiintech.com and look thru the Show Off

Hi !

I'm afraid there could be a link bug on documentation page.

Most links drive to a dead-end page saying one has to login in order to edit the page (what we do NOT expect to do, opf course, but reading some content.  ;)

Tks 4 fixing.
I'm about installing CMS on my server, looks great.

This site has some great templates but for the life of me I could not discover where to download the templates. Am I blind? Where are the download links or download pages?

Thanks.

Mark,

Awesome. If you could post the 3-column round and Blue Oak, I"d be most appreciative.

Thanks.

I'm pretty sure there's a bug, almost sure that human.
Links to any page of the documentation has "action=edit" so that in place of showing pages, one is supposed to enter in edition mode, of course something impossible for us.

I have just understood that those pages are just empty. This is the reason why one enters in "edit mode"
Is there any documentation in english or french or spanish for administrator ?

Yes, there is some. See here: http://wiki.cmsmadesimple.org/index.php ... ndbook_TOC
Note: I don't have time to take on any more projects. I'm quite busy. I may be too busy to reply to emails or messages. Thanks for your understanding. :)
