Using Amazon Cloudfront as CDN for uploads directory

Post by moonoo »

Anyone ever used or concidered using this Amazon S3/Cloudfront as a CDN for all assets related to the website in combination with CMSMS?

Just wondering if it's possible to work it in this way really.

Anyone with experience/indication of feasability..

cheers

You would most likely have a hard time as a few places in the admin look to the config to find the uploads folder and tiny iirc will give you fits...

But on another note I believe that all the forge stuff is hosted on amazonS3...
