Maarten
Do you use a different html template for this page?

at first not but to get the page working I indeed created a different template that uses another content block. I now changed it to the default template.

Maarten,

When you remove the {Gallery} tag from the page, is it alright then?

Try to delete the content of the tmp/template_c folder manually.

Indeed, no problems without the tag. I removed all files from the folder but the same error appears again.

Today I released the AD-Gallery moduletemplate. You can download it here and upload it through the Gallery admin templates tab.

The files, scriptnames, classnames, everything is renamed to AE-Gallery, to bypass ad-block browser plugins.

I think AE-Gallery is the most perfect inline photo presentation system today. No shadow overlays, but a simple image with some thumbs underneath. There are various navigation possibilities: click on the big image, click on the thumbs, push the arrow keys on your keyboard, even a nice slideshow is available.  8)

Just as I discovered it, and spoke about it in the Dutch forum, I was told that the Gallery module is explained in the CMSms Beginner’s Guide by Sofia Hauschildt. (I am truly honored, thank you Sofia!). More amazing is that Sofia describes how to make your own gallerytemplate with.... AD-Gallery ... I really did NOT know  :o  It's unbelievable.

Well... for me a long lasting wish has come true with this extension. I hope you enjoy it too  :)

Does anyone have any idea how I can fix my problem with the printing module in combination with Gallery? I tried different templates and downgrading Gallery all the way down to 1.0, but without effect.

Maarten, I'm sorry, I can not reproduce this...  Seems like you tried a lot of things already, but have you also tried with a fresh install of cmsms?

@maarten

Did you try using {oldprint} in stead of {print} ?

Hi Pakamaka,

This topic is about the Gallery module, not Album.

For Gallery you don't need to install a separate Lightbox module, it's already integrated in the module (this is the same for Album)

After you installed Gallery, you go to Content -> ImageManager and you upload new images to the directory uploads/images/Gallery/ (this directory should be there after install Gallery)

Then you create a new page and put {Gallery} in the content-field. And ready you are  ;D

See also the modulehelp in the Gallery-admin, link on the top-right

Thanks I will try a new install. Oldprint seems to work but the problem with that is that I also need the pdf functionality.

Hello,

I´m pretty new to CMSMS and I posted to the German Subforum, but seems like noone knew an answer (or the question was too stupid  :-[)

I really like the Gallery Module, and I would like to use it for displaying 1 Album-Cover on a page and by clicking on it seeing with Lightbox all the Fotos in the Album. i.e. No thumbnails of all of the Fotos, but browsing through all of the Fotos in One Album in "big"-Lightbox-View.

Is that possible? When I put "maximum number displayed on a page" to "1", then there is only 1 thumbnail as a Album Cover, but then there is also only 1 Picture in the "big"-Lightbox-View...

Does anyone know how to solve that problem?

Thanks a lot in advance!
