What is the reaction of the host on this? Looks like a serverside problem to me.
The strange thing is that opening the FileManager opens the screen correctly, then sort of times out and disappears again...

I have a product called IDC FileManager also installed on my server (to upload stuff for clients) which is installed under htdocs/FileManager.

Could there be some conflict there which is causing the issue?

Everything is possible, but my first thought stays at the server-settings...
But I'm not a specialist in this...

But you can always try to deinstall the addon FileManager, who knows
