Re: Locating my page content

Hi davidf
I cannot locate my page content when I have the site files open in an FTP client.
The page content is stored in the database.
I am concerned that the site might not be search engine friendly unless the page content files are visible to the robot crawlers
Bots don't scan files, but webpages. So you are save  ;)

I cannot locate my page content when I have the site files open in an FTP client. I can only locate the .php files
All content is saved in table `cms_content` in your Data Base.
Here are listed tools (plugins for browsers) to inspect your pages (styles, meta...). http://forum.cmsmadesimple.org/index.ph ... #msg162522
IMO your installations is just fine.

The "pages" are created on the fly on all access to your site - also by robots.

To look for you meta information - use your browser...

No way you were using CMS Made Simple to make .asp flat file pages...

No, but he could have been using mod_rewrite to make the URLs look as though he was using flat ASP files.
