More flexibility for Content Block editing display templates

Post by smack »

wysiwyg = false is a great start.

What we'd like is to be able to specify how large a box to display on the Page editing screen.

For example, we'll set up a template where we divide a page up into a headline, and the main body. Currently, both display large content editing boxes, when all we really need for the headline is a single line for entering some text.

We're thinking about implementing this ourselves - our programmer thinks it might be fairly simple to be able to specify different display templates for editing different content blocks. We shall see.

Actually, you're in luck (sort of).

{content block='someblock' oneline='true'} is in 0.11.2.

I hope not.  Or we've better move on to bigger and better things (if there is such a thing)...  :)
