Hi, I'm new to CMS-MS but I'm slowly getting my head around it. I'm currently working on setting up a photo gallery using the Album module. But I can't seem to work out how to display all thumbnails for all Albums on the same page. The user would then click on any of the thumbnails and view the larger image as per the default template (which I'm using as my starting point). The reason for doing this is the gallery will have separate albums but not very many photos in each album and I would like to reduce the clicking that the user has to go through to view the photos, hence removing the single album level.
I've tried editing the default template but I'm not having much luck.
What do I need to edit to get this to work.
I'm using CMS version 1.4, Album v0.9.3, PHP v5.2.6 mySQL v5.0.22
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
Graham.

[solved] Re: All Albums & thumbnails on same page
I, too, would like the answer to this question. Is there anyone who will point us toward a solution?

Re: All Albums & thumbnails on same page
To get just the thumbs of an Album and not the single thumb that links to the full set you have to call the album itself, {cms_module module="album" albums="1"}, if you use this you have to call each album like this if you try and use a comma separated set of albums it will revert back to the thumb link to the album...
If you such a small set of images why not make one album?...

Re: All Albums & thumbnails on same page
Thanks so much! This is just the info I needed.
You asked:
"If you such a small set of images why not make one album?..."
The problem is that, with only one album, my client thinks the page looks too bare when the page loads with just the one thumbnail for the album.
Loading all the thumbs of the album instead, using your helpful directions, will make the page look more "populated" - at least until more albums are in place.

Re: All Albums & thumbnails on same page
I meant why not put all images in one album then use same call to show all, you had mentioned having more than one album...

Re: All Albums & thumbnails on same page
That was grobinson who had multiple albums. I just have one album on the page in question!
I so appreciate your presence on these boards, Mark. This isn't the first time that you've been the only one to reply to a topic I have posted or read with interest. I appreciate it!

Re: All Albums & thumbnails on same page
So, after a little exploration, this brought up thumbnails of all my albums on one page:
{cms_module module="album" albums="1,2,3,4,5"}
allowing links through to the actual albums, which can open up with all images showing as thumbnails:
{cms_module module="album" albums="1"}
{cms_module module="album" albums="1,2,3,4,5"}
allowing links through to the actual albums, which can open up with all images showing as thumbnails:
{cms_module module="album" albums="1"}
