Tinymce pastetext

Help with getting the CMS CORE package up and running. This does not include 3rd party modules, PHP scripts, anything downloaded via module manager or from any external source.

Tinymce pastetext

Post by dmgd »

I installed the new 1.4.1  Everything is OK but I can  not use the pastetext icon in Tinymce.  There is no plug-in option and no directory for paste in tinymce.  All I have is simplepaste.  Did the paste folder go away permanently?  How do I get pastetext back?

I did a search and could not find an answer.  If there is a post could someone point me to it?

Thanks
Mark

simplepaste has replaced paste in 1.3X and 1.4X but in SVN version paste is present again

From a Mac perspective we're getting there, if slowly. The TinyMCE 2.4.5 module introduced some problems, but 2.4.7 is better.

As I understand it, these latest versions are supposed to paste intelligently without the need for multiple paste buttons. If the text to be pasted was copied from within the editor window, retain the formatting; if it's from Word etc., strip out the garbage.

For Mac Firefox 3 it's nearly perfect, except that pasting from an external source always uses
instead of ..., even with multiple line breaks.

Mac Safari 3 avoids the
issue, but pasting from within the editor window introduces a lot of unwanted Webkit garbage.

So version 1.4.1+ will see the return of paste?  Sorry I'm not sure what SVN means.
