1.3 edit page strangeness

I upgraded to 1.3 from 1.2.4 and when I edit a page, using Firefox, the change takes place like it always did...

But the spinner in the upper right corner of browser keeps spinning and the progress bar at the bottom is still there with the transferring data notice and the progress bar is there but it's empty...

I left one page I edited in the browser window for 1.5 hours and it was still spinning, editing CSS doesn't make this happen

This used to happen waaaay back when FCKEditor was the default and I had more than one content box in a template and the pointer was in busy mode, this time pointer doesn't act busy...

I Like the new theme, any way to take out the notice to the left of login?...

EDIT: It seems to be the old 'more than one content edit block' problem, I tried it on a page with only one content block and it works fine, no spinning after apply...

Yeah I already did it using the CSS to display:none...

I have a couple of sites with 3-5 content blocks, and I've not seen this behavior in any of them since the upgrade.
