When showing CMSMS to potential end users I often find they're put off by the visible presence of what they see as "computer code" in the WYSIWYG editor, which otherwise provides a familiar, word processor type interface.
If CMSMS Links are reluctantly accepted it's because the tag and parameters are at least added for them by clicking in the TinyMCE toolbar, but Global Content Blocks require them to type in the code. This is unpopular and often results in malformed tags.
So, it would be great if a Global Content Block toolbar button could be added to the default WYSIWYG, providing a list of available blocks.
Obviously not every available tag and module can be squeezed into a WYSIWYG toolbar but I think it would provide consistency for Content functions that are part of the default CMSMS installation to be incorporated as far as possible.

Re: Making Global Content Blocks easy to add
A very good idea - but sadly underdeveloped - is the Relatives module, which allows users to assign images, documents, etc, to pages; it would be ideal to extend this to global content blocks as well. Sadly the module is only at a 0.2 release and nowhere near ready for use in a production environment yet; a shame, as it would be perfect for a few projects I've made. If my PHP was any good I'd try to develop it myself.
