First Admin Search without result returns empty page

Without doing a search for something with results the page returned for an empty result set is a bit empty, it just displays "Finished" and nothing else.
If you first search for something with a non-empty result set, for example admin, you get a nice block named "Search Results:". You'll keep this block if you now search again for something without results.
