[already fixed] Stuck at Step 7 of upgrade

Post by JamesT »

I'm trying to upgrade from 2.1.6 but it halts at step 7, "Cleaning files that are no longer applicable to the release", with no way to proceed. The PHP error log shows no errors.

Also problems here at Step 7, with an advanced clean install, 2.1.6 does install with same permissions and database credentials, running with PHP 7.0.16, I can get past Step 7, though no files get extracted at all.

Code: Select all

Step 7 - Install Application Files
Installation Directory:
/home/prism/domains/prism.nl/public_html/test
Sorry, something has gone wrong... (internal error) (705)

Step 8 - Database Work
Installation Directory:
/home/prism/domains/prism.nl/public_html/test
Sorry, something has gone wrong... (internal error) (705)

Step 9 - Finish
Installation Directory:
/home/prism/domains/prism.nl/public_html/test
Sorry, something has gone wrong... (internal error) (810)

Looks like the session information was lost.

So you got to step 7 or step 8 after walking away from the machine for a while.

Guess I wanted to enjoy the experience as long as possible. Maybe trow in a notification about the session information being lost or just redirect to step 1?

I'm getting :

Sorry, something has gone wrong... (internal error) (750)

Doesn't seem to be a session issue (or at least not because I have left it too long...)

Is 750 a session issue too or does that relate to something else entirely? Is there anywhere you can see al the error code definitions?

Thanks

In beta2 a 750 error may occur in an upgrade or freshen operation (you did not provide this information) IF for some reason there are no .nls.php files in the <root>/lib/nls directory, OR the system cannot read that directory.
