Upgrade from a 2.1.6 stuck at step 7 with both the Phar installer and the expanded installer.

Was able to do a clean install in a subdirectory with no issues noted during installation.

File Manager:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function mb_split() in /home/nmnet/public_html/beta/lib/smarty/plugins/shared.mb_str_replace.php on line 48

Importing a theme still produces:
<link href="__URL,,cbac7c390dfbc2d9c3553d38010e4f38__" rel="stylesheet">

In Admin Log:
CmsJobManager Received 500 response when trying to trigger async processing

That's all I have for now...will report back after I get a chance to mess around a bit more.

the mb_split issue is weird.

We are testing to ensure that the 'mbstrings' extensions are loaded. and apparently that passed for you. 'mb_split' is a part of the 'mb_strings' package.

WRT the design import. I will look into it once I get a good test environment for that setup.

Excerpt from my phpinfo below..I do have that extension enabled.

A note about the theme import...it was a theme exported from a previous 2.1. version. I'll try the current version and report back.

I have 'enhanced' the check for the mbstring addons (I guess just checking for the module isn't enough)...

and I have solved the 500 error issue. (Malformed header). Thanks to velden who graciously arranged for me to have ssh access to an install that the reproduced the issue.

Now gotta get a good environment to test the design manager thing.

WRT Stalling on page 7 of the installer (where we work with files) You said it worked fine during an install, but hung during an upgrade. The difference between an install and an upgrade is we process the manifest file to delete files that are no longer relevant to the installation. I checked the code and I can't see anything that would cause the issue... so I will have to find a working environment with ssh access so that I can test it.

I exported a design from a 2.1.6 website and imported it on 2.2beta1 on PHP 7.1.2 and it works like expected.

Same here Rolf.

Also on PHP7.1.2 works like a charm, lots of templates and multiple stylesheets.

What I don't like is that it create a design-name dir in uploads under Designs.
I like to see it just create the design-name dir in uploads, other standard designs (simplex) are also just there, or just move everything to a design directory.

Ohw, my bad...
It didn't work afterall... In a stylesheet:

Code: Select all

body {
	background: #fff url(__URL,,a3de007b7c94267de5b3b1b6b2767134__);
So issue is confirmed!
