[open] 301 internal error... what now?

Post by kikinovak »

Hi,

I'm a happy user of CMSMS 1.x, which I'm using for several sites. Today I wanted to give CMSMS 2.0 beta a spin on my workstation (running Slackware64 14.1). I setup a virtual host for Apache, with http://betacms.alphamule pointing to ~/Web/betacms/htdocs, downloaded the beta and pointed my browser to the installer.

Step 1 works OK, step 2 detects a "new install", but when I click "Install", I get the following error message:
Sorry, something has gone wrong... (internal error) (301)
Which leaves me clueless. Any suggestions?

The 301 error means it could not find the 'action' that you were performing.

This 'probably' means that you left the installer sitting for longer than your PHP session lifetime (which is by default about 15 minutes).
