[fixed] News upload through fieldtype file doesn't work

I created a fielddefinition of the type file and tried to upload an image of .jpg or .gif. But the directory news/ in /uploads/ wasn't created.
Creating the DIR manually in filemanager works.

So I created news/id2 (id2 the testarticle) and tried to upload something that is allowed through the settings but it ins't uploaded.

I tried the same procedure locally on Windows and it didn't work either.
