[mod_issue] Module Manager error on upgrade of existing...

Post by moorezilla »

Upgrade of existing site to 2.0 beta finished without warning, but visiting the Module Manager shows some modules that don't seem to upgrade. The mailer one has a deprecated warning, but I'm not sure what's up with the other one's not upgrading. The core needing an update is odd, since the upgrade seemed to complete successfully.

This is related to modules accessing smarty in their constructor.

The CMSMS smarty object is not available during the install/upgrade process, so module authors will have to do a test if using smarty in the module constructor.
