[reproduced] Unable to uninstall news module

I am unable to uninstall the News module. It just gives an error and when I log back in the module is still installed.

Error states

Server error
The website encountered an error while retrieving http://i1501/~testing/admin/listmodules ... odule=News. It may be down for maintenance or configured incorrectly.

Update, it seems it did uninstall as the frontend site is now giving an error
