Hi,

I was just wondering if there are any plans for running on PHP8?

Many thanks

We don't have a timeline for it yet, but likely the next few releases will gradually add support. Typically early support will allow for php warnings/notices, which are then cleaned up on subsequent releases. Full support is planned for 3.0 (no timeline yet), see https://www.cmsmadesimple.org/roadmap

Module developers will also need to provide updates, of course.

I have already been testing core at PHP 8.0.1. Not to bad so far.
Needs work of course, there are some errors and notices, but reading responses at social media about PHP 8 I expected much worse...

Worked fine for me apart from this: viewtopic.php?f=7&t=82661

Which is a deal breaker so I'm back to PHP 7.4.
