Upgrading 2.2.10

Post by Smeleck »

I am trying to upgrade from 2.2.8 to 2.2.10

The site is not in the root folder but an addon outside the root.

When I try to run the install file http://www.mysite.com/cmsms-2.2.10-install.php.

I get the error.
404 Error
The requested URL was not found on this server.

I have checked the file and for any typos but still not working.

If it's in a subfolder like mysite.com/folder you may need to use the full path to the install...

Hello

Can anyone explain this to me. Each time I try uploading the install.expanded.zip file or the install.zip file (any version 2.1.x) via cpanel file manager, I get this error:

The file you uploaded, cmsms-2.2.10-install.expanded.zip, contains a virus so the upload was canceled: {HEX}Malware.Expert.generic.eval.base64.decode.41.UNOFFICIAL FOUND

But for some strange reason, installing a vanilla version via softaculous works!

It's a false positive, you'll need to ask your host to add an exception to their antivirus.
