CMSMS 2.2.8 & PHP 7

Hello

I am running CMSMS 2.2.8, and have an issue with the admin back end running very slowly - but only when running PHP 7 - switching back to PHP 5.6 seems to work fine.

I'd appreciate advice as to anything I might try to fix the issue - for example, is there a different admin template than OneEleven that I might try? Or anything else?

I would check a few things:

• Make sure you're on PHP 7.1, there were some significant bugs in 7.0
• Look at the System Info panel and make sure you have green checkmarks across the board where possible
• Open the javascript console and see if you can determine if anything there is causing a slowdown
• Look at your PHP error logs and see if anything jumps out

I have lots of sites on 7.1 and the backend is quick. It's most likely something specific to your hosting environment.
