Locking Refresh Interval

Locking Refresh Interval

Hello

Is the (Settings - Content Manager -> Locking Refresh Interval) parameter responsible for the refresh rate of page statuses in Content Manager ?

When I'm in ContentManager in FireBug, I see requests every 30 seconds.
http: // [host] /admin/moduleinterface.php?mact=CMSContentManager,m1_,ajax_get_content,0&_sk_ ....
I would like to reduce the number of these requests so I change the value of Settings - Content Manager -> Locking Refresh Interval (seconds)
When I set its value to 300 or 0. Refreshing requests are still performed within an interval of 30 seconds.
