CMSMS 2.2.x has no mechanism to allow third party code to tie in to the admin login system.
That is hopefully changing in CMSMS 2.3. I am revamping the login functionality again to allow for a third party 'login module'. I am doing this because of the need for U2F-fido security to authenticate to the admin panel.
