Warning messages in module manager

Post by rotezecke »

I just disabled my last CG module (CGExtentions) now that SmartImage is released. Minor hickup with CMSMSExt (bug report sent) but the module manager shows two warnings:
Debug display of 'CGSmartImage':(1.683581) - (net usage: 3876696) - (peak: 4935824)
and
CGExtensions module not loadable.. does it need an upgrade?
I checked SQL backup file for occurrence of any "{cg" but there are none. I use {jsmin} but from the documentation that's also part of CMSMSExt.

I cannot actually find anything wrong on the front end. Cache was cleared. so far nothing in any error logs or admin log.

CGExtensions been replaced by CMSMSExt. If I am right you don't need CGExtensions anymore. I would disabled CGExtensions and insall CMSMSExt. Then test the site if it still works. Don't forget to chance any smarty tags to match CMSMSExt. The only problem that other modules would not let you remove CGExtensions.

You need someone else to comfirm this as I am only an amateur with CMSMS. I am trying to move away from CG Modules as they not been updated.

Hope that helps.

That's exactly what i did. As soon as I disabled CGExtensions, module manager shows warnings about CGSmartImage and CGExtensions. I have since uninstalled all CG stuff and the website works fine. Just those warnings. I suspect Javascript loads those warnings as I cannot see anything in module managers' php files that would create those messages.

Are there any folders left for those modules? Sometimes an uninstall isn't totally clean. Then CMSMS and browser cache clear. After that I'm not sure.
Not getting the answer you need? CMSMS support options

Deleting the uninstalled folders fixed it! Thanks.
