Hi all
Not sure if I'm missing something, or misunderstanding something... but...
With FEU - when I set it up it forces me to create a user property... I dont want any user properties! I just want to create an area on a website where people can login - so all I need is the username and password.
By creating a user property it forces an extra step on me every time I create a user
Is there any way around this?
Thanks!
Front End User - why do I have to have a user property?

Re: Front End User - why do I have to have a user property?
I can't speak as to why the module forces it, but it's easy enough to work around by making a field and setting it to hidden in the group.
As far as I know there's no way to avoid having the second step when you create users (other than selfreg or uploading a csv), unless perhaps you can convince/sponsor the developer to make the change or customize the module for you.

Thanks DIGI3 ... I'm about to set up 90 username/passwords so the extra step gets a bit annoying as you might imagine!

I'd suggest using csv then, but I just tested it on the latest version and it appears to be broken: http://dev.cmsmadesimple.org/bug/view/12252
Developer says it was fixed in CGExtensions, but I don't think the fixed version has been released yet.
