FEU 3x for CMSMS 2.3 upwards only ?

Testing FEU 3.2 in staging to understand if I need to update any smarty; or plugins etc given FEU 3x is a major update.

Am I wrong to have concluded that FEU 3x is really a CMSMS 2.3 only upgrade ?.

For instance FEU 3x has abandoned events in favour of hooks. In the https://docs.cmsmadesimple.org/advanced ... and-events documentation it gives an example of "Send an email when an admin login fails" and the CMSMS2.3 announcement in the forums refers to "A new file in the assets directory will allow connecting hooks to simple plugins" and whilst CMSMS 2.2 implemented HookManager I can't find anything about how "A new file in the assets directory will allow connecting hooks to simple plugins" in 2.2 ?

So FEU3x is CMSMS2.3 only ?

I'm using FEU3.2 on 2.2.13. i only have a very basic setup, but no problems to report.

If you aren't using any FEU events rotezecke then it probably OK - events seem to have been delete prematurely if this is aimed at CMSMS 2.2.x
