FEU - Update notifcation email not working

Hi,

We recently got FEU working in conjunction with Company Directory. All works nicely except for the email to the admin which notifies that an entry in Company Directory has been updated.

The core of CMSMS has been progressively updated to the most recent as have all other modules. However, we were not easily able to update FEU and Company Directory at the same time as there was some bespoke coding done a couple of years back to make post-code search work nicely for our application.

Is it possible that the "old" FEU/CD modules use a different mailing function to the new core please? Just working out where to start looking.

If necessary we will need to upgrade FEU/Company Directory and re-work the bespoke coding; however we'd prefer to make mods to the "old" modules simply to get the mailer to work if at all possible. This is because a full site update is on the horizon using the new CMSMS version when it comes out of beta. So a holding measure for a few months.

Thanks for any guidance as where to start looking. We have established that the standard mailing function (php and SMTP) work fine.
