Hide or collapse Custom Fields in back-end Gallery

Post by amandasaza08 »

I have a question regarding the Gallery Module.

Is there a way to hide or collapse the Custom Fields area in the back-end? With many subgallery-related fields you must scroll every time to see the list of sub-galleries.

I don't think it's a feature of the module BUT you may consider changing it yourself:

https://docs.cmsmadesimple.org/customiz ... -templates

A few notes:
- the default module_custom folder lives under /assets folder
- don't forget about this custom template! When upgrading the module the old custom template will be used for the new version too. If the developer changed functionality which needs to be reflected in the admin template, you should change the custom template accordingly. What I tend to do is adding a small, red and bold notice at the top of the custom template to remind me it's a custom template.
