FEU: Problem encrypted props after upgrade FEU 2.8/2.8.1

In a CMSMS 2.2.5-version I use the FEU-module with some encrypted properties. After upgrading FEU to version 2.8/2.8.1 the properties are not decrypted properly (strange characters), aswell in backend as in the frontend.

I noticed the changed code for the encryptionkey in the file 'lib/class.FrontEndUsersManipulator.php', but could not figger out if something is wrong with that.

Then I thought it may have something to do with the changed \cge_encrypt class in CGExtensions 1.58. But the decryption works fine with CGE 1.58/1.59 in combination with FEU 2.7/2.7.1.

Is there anyone with the same problems?
Any suggestions to solve them?
