Gallery additional image field

I need additional fields for languages for each image description. I already set an additional field in Gallery > Field definifions, called it "english" and set it to apply on "images". Then in the template I placed {$image->fields.english.value}

But when I go in gallery to add the english text for an image, no such field "english" appears (only the usual Title and Comment field).

I am still on CMSMS 1.12, Gallery module 2.0.2

Any idea what I am doing wrong?

All 1.x versions have known vulnerabilities. Upgrade to 2.2.1 ASAP.

Thank you, Jos! Thats it, you solved my problem. I did not even know about that detail view. I always only edited the list view of images.
