Problems & Changes in Company Directory

I use to use Company Directory Version 1.2 knowing that Pretty URL's were not available in certain functions.

The detailpage="pagealiasname" was one of these BUT...
You could select a default detail page in Company Directory settings.

Having upgraded my website to latest version of CMSMS and also of Company Directory, many options in the Settings tab are no longer there.

I cannot set a default detail page. Instead, it reverts to the home page which is not good at all. There are elements on the home page (sliders etc) that are cluttering up the Company Directory detail results.

Does anyone else have experience with this and has overcome it?
