Hello,
I'm trying to get ics running with a CGCalendar.
So far it works fine. Thanks to the developer(s).
What I've noticed so far is that it stores files in uploads/ics.
When experimenting with the plugin I noticed that the files are sometimes created new. I wonder when this happens. What makes the plugin recognize Calendar items as new?
Second question:
Would it be possible when the new files are created to delete the old ones first. I guess they are obsolete then?
Thanks for clearing
ics- plugin what triggers new files?
Re: ics- plugin what triggers new files?
New files are created when new event is added or some of event values is changed, like date or title.
For your other question, you can fill a FR and hope it's accepted at some point.

Re: ics- plugin what triggers new files?
Since it isn't a modul it doesn't recognize if there are new events at all. You can use it in your CGCalendar template as described here: http://www.i-do-this.com/blog/54/iCalen ... with-CMSms.
Nevertheless the next version will include the ability to provide a whole calendar in a file always à jour. That will allow clients to subscribe to your calendar via webcal protocol.
