How about a really really simply photo gallery like Qdig http://qdig.sourceforge.net/ for starters.

This works with a single php file and a directory of images.

Any idea how to make this into a module?

I am brand new on CMSMS 8.1 and come from postnuke and phpnuke. I find them to be great for portal but not so great for content... it seems to me that CMS Made Simple is really well suited for the smaller sites I am building centered around content.

great scripts!

That module you are referring to... is that the random image on the right hand side? Cool.

I just learned about what the html blobs are... I think this is going to be a pretty flexible CMS

I really hope we can get even a simple photo gallery going here soon. I have a few projects coming up for some of my clients that I would just love to give CMS a try in a production environment!

Singapore works with CMS Made Simple. Documented in the wiki here: http://wiki.cmsmadesimple.org/pmwiki.php/Main/Singapore

Kickass.

A couple hints... in the wiki the quotes character " is actually 2 of the characters under the ~ key... there should be a comment in there that you cannot just cut and paste and expect it to work.

But I got it.

I hope to have a sample site up in a couple weeks, I am moving my own site onto this and officially giving postnuke the boot. Then I will possibly have a couple customer sites up as well.

Yep yep yep Singapore function very well :D

this is a stupid module to integrate Singapore inside CMSMS
http://www.awakening.it/test/uploads/singapore.zip

It use only CSV like database, this module is only a fast way to integrate it :p

For admin the gallery, inside CMSMS administration there is a link, and i used an IFRAME

opps i recevied a call, i have to go :D

sorry see you later.

Bye bye

I was saying .... :)

Singapore function very weel, easy to integrate and easy to modify for yourself, with personal template.

Wishy for a better integration in future, we need the possibility of an interaction with the ADMIN user during the installation of a module.

For example, if i write an "ECHO" inside:
function singapore_module_install($cms) {
....
echo "something";
.....
}

I will never see it. This because for Singapore we can do a better interface installation, for example giving the possibility to choose dinamically what type of database use. Without going to modify directly the "singapore.ini"

Wishy i don't know if you are working on a gallery module, but if you aren't working may i have the task to do that for CMS Made Simple?

I can try to integrate it, without use IFRAME and avoid to do two access for administrate the gallaries.

I don't have much time, but after work in the nigth i could do something.

Bye :)

PS: Sorry for my bad english :D

I spent really few time believe me. I must study better the source code of Singapore, like of CMSMS.

It's only a question of time :)
