CMSMS not working on local when internet disconected!

Are you allowing local connection? Firewall? What do your logs say?

i have configured apache and my firewall , and all other clients on LAN can see my localhost,
but everytime i get disconnected from internet , cmsms cannot load corectly.

in this case, when i disable my lan connection, it works right!

Sorry omidahn, are you saying your clients can connect to your CMSMS installation?
If so what is wrong with your CMSMS?

If you just cannot see it locally at localhost or 127.0.0.1 from the machine itself then surely that is a network/hosts/Apache configuration problem and not a CMSMS issue?
If it is a CMSMS issue (e.g.no-one can access your CMSMS, can you access anything else on the localhost with network disconnected? What error are you getting? What do your logs say?

Sorry if I have missed the point here?

You have missed the point. He is saying that CMSMS requires an internet connection or otherwise it loops for an infinite amount of time waiting for an internet connection.

replytomk3, I may well have missed the point completely ;-) but I don't quite see how CMSMS can loop waiting for an internet connection? This sounds much more like problems with hosts file / apache configuration or indeed some other network configuration parameters. Anyway, I don't think we really have enough information, I was hoping omidahn could do a bit more testing and provide some more information.

It might not help at all or even be related but I stalled for a long time figuring the problem I had using WAMP and FireFox. If you are getting a 404 error on localhost, try unchecking "Work Offline" from the "File" menu in FF. It fixes it everytime for me.

But that would mean the problem has nothing to do with CMSMS.

When i get disconected from internet, ME and ALL other clients CAN SEE CMSMS , but it not loads corrrectly,
and other point is that other folders ( other local websites i have on my local host) work fine.
So apache or firewall does not have problem! (i'm using wamp)

wich log should i provide here, php error log / apahe error log /...?

actualy i'm planing to run a local Server for my developer team , and i want to solve this problem first!

Hi omidahn
1. So your CMSMS installation is in WAMP on what platform? WinXP/Win7/Vista?
2. Can you post you Admin/Site Admin/System information here - blanking out anything you may consider sensitive information.
3. When you say CMSMS does not load correctly, what exactly do you mean? Do you get any errors in your website (apache) log for this site? What do you see?

1. Thanks omidahn

2. I actually meant the full system information, showing the Install and config information, PHP and Server information, which is available from the Admin/Site Admin/System, assuming Admin loaded correctly? Which you are telling me it does not? It is going to be difficult without this.
a. Did you have an problems on the install?
b. Was everything flagged as OK when you installed?
c. Also PHP version, MySQL version, Apache Version?

3. Anything useful in the website logs?

please forget about admin, I mean that pages take a long time to load and finaly doesn't load competely!
and noting usefull in logs, i think that it tries to connect to a web address and when it fails to do that, 30 second php execute time ends!

I presume this is a standard install? Apart from the modules you've added?

Try changing, in config.php. And in Admin clear the caches. (Yuo have some of these set OK I think)

$config['process_whole_template'] = true;
$config['debug'] = true;
$config['url_rewriting'] = 'none';
$config['page_extension'] = '';
$config['use_hierarchy'] = false;
$config['query_var'] = 'page';

$config['locale'] = '';

It might also be worth posting you config.php here - minus the password and logins ;-)

I have all of this OK! and config file is default that made by CMSMS,
I tested again with another installation and realized that problem is only in admin!
Admin page does not load completely.
