New Site for Norfolk Based Hi-Fi Shop Basically Sound

Post by Prestoav »

Our latest site using CMSMS launched a couple of weeks ago. The shop itself is set in the Norfolk countryside in an old converted farm building and is a really calm, relaxing place to be. We aimed to reflect this in teh design and function.

The main aim for the website is to encourage contact and visits for equipment demos. It also has a classifieds section for ex-demo and used equipment powered by category specific actions using CGBLog.

Hope you like it, all feedback welcome!

Nice looking, I've been seeing a few sites with such large above the fold image/s, you don't see much actual content till you scroll...

Might want to look at this...

Nicely done! Like all the colours and loads of images of classy audio gear, leaves a very good impression. Like the way you've linked the main images with the waveform in the logo.

How about: Updating to 1.10.11; blog "recent posts" thumbnail image could be linked to post (like title is); consider responsive design so it plays better with mobiles?

Also note that FormBuilder 0.7.4 has been withdrawn because it's buggy (ID names don't work well - you quite possibly don't need that bit to work).

Haven't looked at the site from a regular screen, but now from my HTC mobile phone the site can't be used. The menu is fixed and takes the half of the display...

Thanks for all the feedback folks, really appreciated.

Most of the validation issues sorted this morning, Except the media query one which is new to me...

Rolf, thanks for the HTC feedback. Will have a look at that too!
