Hi Rolf, well originally I posted that I had tried the pretty urls but had been having problems. Since then I have had to delete that post and repost that I have now sorted it.

Step1 of Pretty Urls resulted in 404 page. Step2 originally lost the images on my sites images page, but then i realized I had not followed instructions to the letter, inserting the {metadata) tag in the head section. I have now since done that and as you can tell I at least have prettier urls.

I did originally some weeks ago, use a free hosting server, however it transpired they did not allow .htaccess, this current server on a paid package does, but it appears with complications. Hence why step2 has to be used.

Cheers for that.
