Nice.

Before I tried your suggestion I thought it would look too cramped, but it looks better - it will also reduce the amount of scrolling required with long table lists.

I'll try and upload a newer version soon (with the table td reduced). I've a few other little tweaks to add too.

Just came across this thread - I have used the Galant theme since I started using CMSMS so am very interested in any upgrades. Will have a look at the new version.

I made some changes to it so it works in CMSMS 1.10.*...

This is CMSMStm branded...

Hi Dr.CSS

I installed this on a new site - looks fine except the icons are strange.

I liked the way it showed up in User Prefs after adding to Global Settings without having to select it!

This icon problem is the same as I was having with the previous version on 1.10.*.

Thanks

Is this on one where you had this theme before?...

They show up ok for me, have you cleared your site and browser cache, you can also view the images to see if they look like that or ?...

Thanks for reply Dr.CSS

NO, brand new setup to test the admin theme.

Both caches cleared regularly when I am working on a new site.
I can't even see your first image example and the second could possibly be the Users and Groups icon or My Prefs, but nothing like as clear as yours. They are sort of hazy and unclear.

Also, when comparing my installation with your screenshot in the link you made a few posts ago, where the sitename is seems to be a plain coloured background, mine it seems to have jagged underlying images.

I am thinking it seems to be an image problem of some sort. The rest of it seems as it should be.

I have done lots of sites using the version of Galant I used on my very first site with CMSMS. I just went to where I kept the folder, and uploaded it using FTP.

After the first installation of 1.10, I got error messages in the admin home page and I remember you told me how to change the array by updating the GalantTheme.php file. So I then uploaded that and all was well.

Possibly it was 1.10.1 or 1.10.2 when the trouble started. I posted a while ago about this but did not get any replies.

Just to see, I went to an old site 1.9.4.2 and upgraded successfully to 1.10.2 and everything is fine. It is only on NEW installations that the issue is.

Did you try looking at your images in the browser like my links, did you FTP this up to your site?...

yoursite.com/admin/themes/etc. etc....

Ah - yes, it is definitely an image problem -I think?

When checking via browser, error message is that the image cannot be displayed as it contains errors. I use FileZilla.

I had an instance just yesterday when a PDF uploaded via FTP didn't work (error message similar to above) whereas the same PDF uploaded via cPanel was OK. I think that only files can be uploaded via cpanel, not folders- is that right? Which is why I use FTP if possible.

I haven't had a problem in the past using FileZilla for this sort of uploading but it suddenly comes to mind that I am experiencing difficulties on another site just now with a photo slideshow that won't show the images uploaded by FileZilla. As my coding is exactly the same as for an earlier slideshow that DOES work, I am now thinking it is an FTP problem.
[Edited: YES! Problem solved when I uploaded via cPanel !]
I have also noticed recently that ordinary site images uploaded via FileZilla do NOT appear in Image Manager even though they are showing in the list of site files as being uploaded. They don't appear until I have uploaded them again using Image Manager.

[Edited] The problem was that I must have changed the file setting in FileZilla to ASCII instead of Auto. Everything fine now and I am just changing the colours of Galant2 to match my own site.

Thanks very much, Dr.CSS.
