CHANGED: MLE 1.8.1 and pretty URL: global content blocks disappearing

Post by sleiron »

Hi,

I was wondering how to correctly implement the following wish with CMS MS MLE v1.8.1:

I've added two languages in the site admin/mle languages page: english and german.

initially they were added with 'en_US' and 'de_DE' in the 'Label URL:' field.

For prettier URL reasons, I changed the entries to only 'en' and 'de'.

The problem now is, that all my GCBs have disappeared. If I try to open the website I get a lot of:

'Smarty error: unable to read resource: "globalcontent:header"'

errors.

Changing back the field 'Label URL' in the MLE Language settings gives back the GCBs, but then the URL will again be:

www.domainname.com/en_US/about

instead of:
www.domainname.com/en/about

How can I match the already created GCBs to the new language labels?

Thanks for any hints.

yes, there is a bug because if you changed your key MLE don't know the new DEFAULT LANGUAGE.
1. Enter in MLE settings and select your radio default language
2. Upgrade to incoming 1.8.2
