searching this phpBB forum

Post by manuel »

If you aren't a big fan of the way the PhpBB search works...

"You specified too many words to search for. Please do not enter more than 10 words."
"Sorry but you cannot use search at this time. Please try again in a few minutes."
...and the auto conversion of your search queries in various ways... :-\

Try adding a custom search in firefox, it's working out great for me!
- add a bookmark in FF
- Name: Custom CMSMS Forum search
- URL: http://www.google.be/search?q=site%3Aht ... .org%2F+%s
- keyword: cmsms

To test it:
write cmsms followed by any search query in your address bar :)

Manuel

Or, for ANY website, type in Geegle

site:site.com searchterm

for example

site:forum.cmsmadesimple.org TinyMCE

The reason i'm bothering to set up this custom search is not to have to type the long search query over and over again...

If you follow the instructions, you would simply type "cmsms TineyMCE" in stead of "site:forum.cmsmadesimple.org TinyMCE" and the same results will be returned...

Greetings,
Manuel
