Help desired to update module to meet cmsms 2.x demand

Who would help me to update a cmsms module to work with cmsms version 2.x?
Module is currently running with former versions 1.12.x properly.

The module developer is not longer running the project.

Its the avplayer module. A genius tool to handle self hostet video and bunch of video stuff on you website.
