New Release Help!

To All,
In 2010 our Homes Association (HOA) paid to have our web site built by a local company. Since that time the content has been updated by several individuals and I have been primarily the Administrator and adding features to the site.

For the past several months I have been trying to contact the guy who originally built our web site using CMS, with no luck!

I would like to find out if there is anyone in the Forum with enough experience in backup, and downloading the latest version of CMS made simple that would do that for us.

I am comfortable with making changes within CMS, but not comfortable after reading what is required to backup and install a new version.
